Well let's start from the start I guess.
I have begun this blog primarily as a means to get my thoughts out and keep myself motivated as I struggle to try to conceive my first child. I don't care if noone else on the planet ever reads it, I am just hoping right now that it will help me (as selfish as that sounds). If it can go on to help other people who may be in a similar situation to myself then that will always be a bonus.
So, a bit of background: I am a 24 year old primary school teacher, been married to the most wonderful man on the planet for a year and a half although we have been together for coming on 7 years. I spend my spare time devoted to football, be it playing, watching or coaching my free time seems to revolve around it.... And for the last 9 months my husband and I have been trying to conceive our first child. Many people may look at that and think to themselves, well 9 months isn't that long, but to me it is. As a healthy couple in their 20s (neither of us smoke or drink) it shouldn't be taking this long.
Well that's the story anyway. I will be posting updates on my efforts (and random happenings of our family life) as I see fit. But like I said at the start- I am doing this almost as a means of counseling myself to keep my mind clear.
